The first picture shows the snake coiled up; actually two coils at least, one on top of the other. If the diameter is about 20 cms, one coil is at least 60 cms, so the snake was over 1.2 metres long. It looks similar in thickness to my wrist. Tiger Snakes on Kangaroo Island flatten themselves in the neck region when they are angry and likely to strike. This picture shows the snake just visible behind the bins.
