Weeding Bridle Creeper


Last Thursday volunteer Eric, shown in the picture above, helped me tackle Bridle Creeper in our Pebble Beach Creek gully. The bags of Bridle Creeper plants were collected because they had green berries. Other plants were chopped off with hoes allowing us to get into almost inaccessible places. Some of the creeper had rust on it, introduced perhaps 5 years ago.The fungal rust has done a good job in controlling the creeper since then.
