Last Friday I took our guest on our Guided Walks. In the morning, we started with the Coastal Foreshore Walk. First up we had a look at old disused Little Penguin burrows found on the east side of the slope just up from Pebble Beach. Well used ones are easily spotted this time of the year by the mass of Slender Thistles around the burrow entrance. We then checked the two active burrows down on the beach and found a Little penguin in one of them. On the wave cut platform, lots of periwinkles along the way. Walking round to Little Penguin and Thunder caves, we came across some pristine pure KI sea salt.
